Coren Moore is currently having a spring promotion for fall weddings!  A 15% discount will be granted on all orders placed between March 1st and April 30th.  An 18% discount will be granted on any order of 8 dresses or more in the same style during that period. Destination Inspiration: Paris

We’re so excited about our Destination Inspirations Event scheduled to take place on Sunday, March 20th from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. We have already revealed two of our destinations that will be featured at our event: Capri and New England.

Our third destination takes us back over to Europe to one of my all time favorite cities which is a constant source of inspiration for me... Paris. What’s not to adore about the city of lights and the city of love? Cobblestone streets, croissants, Bordeaux, Champs de Elysee, croque madame, The Metro, Marie Antoinette, corner street cafes, Chanel, Dior, Louboutin, Vuitton, Givenchy, YSL… need I say more? With this Parisian inspired board Candice Coppola of Jubilee Events took a cue from the French ballet and a place that we both heart with every fiber of our macaron loving being: Ladurée. The board is so beautiful that I get goose bumps every time I look at it!!!  We love the idea of being inspired by tulle and tutus, high buns, dramatic makeup, and those beautiful bites of perfection from Ladurée. Candice took the signature Ladurée green as a starting point and worked in the colors of champagne,  gold, and brown to accentuate.

Join us on Sunday, March 20th from 11-3 for an afternoon of inspiration from destinations and for destinations!
We have gathered together some of the most talented vendors in the bridal industry to inspire you for your wedding at home or abroad. 

We have already revealed two of the inspirational destinations that will be featured at the event~  Capri and New England!  Stay tuned to the blog over the next two weeks as we announce the remaining two destinations and the incredible give away that brides who attend the event will be eligible for!

This fun-filled event will kick off a destinations trunk show that will take place from March 22nd - 26th. We have pulled together an incredible selection of gowns that are perfect for your destination wedding and they will all be discounted by 10% during the trunk show.  Also, any bride that purchases a gown during the trunk show is also eligible for the yet to be announced give away!

Black Swan

With the Oscar's upon us today, we are waiting with baited breath to see the stunning gowns that will grace the red carpet!  We have our fingers crossed that Black Swan will take picture of the year.  As the thriller continues to sweep the award shows, we will begin to see its influence on the world of fashion- particularly bridal fashion.

The costumes  in the movie were spectacular. Costume designer Rodarte did an exceptional job incorporating fashion elements into the ballet costumes. Black and White and feather details are both currently hot bridal trends.  With the influence of Black Swan, it will be exciting to watch those trends intensify. We will also begin to see the film's influence on bridal beauty with more dramatic hair and lashes- and  the resurgence of the ballet bun!

destination inspiration: New England

We are excited to debut our second destination for our Destination Inspired Event  on Sunday, March 20th. We hope you’ve saved the date for an amazing afternoon of inspiration. We can't wait to unveil our inspiration tent filled with tablescapes, floral design and gowns, all inspired by the selected destinations.  Whether you are planning a destination wedding, or looking for inspiration for your wedding at home, this is an event NOT to be missed!


Our first destination was inspired by the romantic island of Capri where we brought in soft colors and dreamy fabrics.


As friend of The White Dress and event co-creator, Candice Coppola of Jubilee Events, is far more eloquent than I, I will allow her to describe the inspiration that she has created in her own words~ 

"What do you think of when you think of the great north east? Shades of white and blue, a breezy and cool shoreline, nautical details (stripes/seersucker, shipping knots, sail cloth), Adirondack chairs, clams, oysters and lobster, changing of the seasons, matching pearl necklaces and earrings, Federal Style architecture, the epic blue blazer… Martha’s Vineyard, Kennebunkport, Watch Hill, The Cape and of course nearly every town on the Connecticut shoreline. One thing I love about New England (aside from all those things) is that it can inspire so many different styles— and we intend to use none of the above.
