the little black dress collection

Last bridal market we scoured the designers runways to put together a fabulous collection of little black dresses.  All of these styles come in other colors as well (some even in shades of white), but we couldn’t resist sampling them in classic black.  The tricky part is that because everything that we do is special order, the lead time on these dresses is at least 3 months.  So, as soon as you receive that save the date for the next wedding that you are invited to, ring us to see the collection!  Or, order one now just to have in your closet!  Everyone should have a stunning little black dress in their wardrobe!

I attended an event last night in New York at the Ace Hotel. It was sponsored by one of our favorite wedding blogs, 100 Layer Cake and it featured the amazing musical talents of Elan Artists (check them out, they have some of the best musical groups in the industry)!

At the event, I met two beautiful and talented women with very cool wedding related businesses and I wanted to introduce them to you!

white carpet appointment!

We had our first bride indulge in a white carpet appointment yesterday! The lucky bride and her family spent 3 hours being pampered in the boutique and enjoyed delicious savory and sweet treats from The Elegant Occassion while viewing our collection.  The entire experience was captured on film by Take Aim Photography. (stay tuned to blog to see a post with the images).  At the end of her exclusive appointment, the bride walked away with this stunning bouquet inspired by her wedding from Fleur de lys , as a gift from us.

Destination Inspiration: Paris

We’re so excited about our Destination Inspirations Event scheduled to take place on Sunday, March 20th from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. We have already revealed two of our destinations that will be featured at our event: Capri and New England.

Our third destination takes us back over to Europe to one of my all time favorite cities which is a constant source of inspiration for me... Paris. What’s not to adore about the city of lights and the city of love? Cobblestone streets, croissants, Bordeaux, Champs de Elysee, croque madame, The Metro, Marie Antoinette, corner street cafes, Chanel, Dior, Louboutin, Vuitton, Givenchy, YSL… need I say more? With this Parisian inspired board Candice Coppola of Jubilee Events took a cue from the French ballet and a place that we both heart with every fiber of our macaron loving being: Ladurée. The board is so beautiful that I get goose bumps every time I look at it!!!  We love the idea of being inspired by tulle and tutus, high buns, dramatic makeup, and those beautiful bites of perfection from Ladurée. Candice took the signature Ladurée green as a starting point and worked in the colors of champagne,  gold, and brown to accentuate.
